It may be the indias first medical colleges emergency medicine department which offers 24 hours services of qualified Emergency Medicine specialists. Dr.Prasanth KV (HOD),Dr.Gopi krishna , Dr.Harshad and Dr.Yousaf (Specialists) covering 24 hours services. Wyanad is the hill station with tribal population .Area has relatively less healthcare facilities. This service will augment life saving mission. DM wims now add international training program in emergency medicine in association with George Washington University of USA.
