This was the team National Service Scheme of Calicut medical college  (1983 to 84). I was the NSS coordinator during this tenure. We the first NSS unit of calicut medical college conducted 10 day camp in the  CMC history. We adopted Peruvayal Panchayath and did a comprehensive health survey and did health care interventions with help of community medicine department. Prof .Anna Mani was hod and prof.CKJ panickar was principal. Their support was tremendous. This Nss team did a "bug hunt " in Kuthira vattom mental hospital. The health and hygienic condition was so pathetic on those days. This photo was so excited me when seeing again. My social initiatives were started from here .May this was my first social initiative in my life. I must be so thankful to Dr.MN Anvar

Is Animal bite an MLC? All bites which are Grievous in nature or endangering life of victim or suspected foul play should be made MLC. Snake bite can kill the victim within 24 hours, & many cases of foul play has been reported in which snakes were put in pot intentionally by rivals to kill others for property. And it becomes non-bailable offence under 328 IPC (grievous hurt by poison). If a farmer dies due to snake bite while working in fields, than Rs 50,000 compensation is given by Forest department under Wildlife protection act. Same is applicable in death by bites by wild cats like Lion, Tiger, Leopard & Fox. So hurt by all wild animals is MLC for claiming compensation. Recently, a man fell in Delhi Zoo in Tiger's cage, Govt provided 1lakh to the next of kin after it was proven in postmortem done in AIIMS that the man died due to tiger bite, due to negligence of zoo authorities in protecting visitors. Indeed  Fireman is thrilling malayalam movie . It is tribute  to Indian fire force department.  Movie has pictured the rescue operation in an event of disaster stand by . Good story board ,  excellent  direction. Awesome art direction.  Keeping the tempo in entire 2 hours and really a suspense thriller. After a long time Mammootty  again in superb form. Each and every  one should see the movie. Once you see the movie ; our attitude towards the fire force will be changed altogether. Movie salutes  Fire force department in most respectfully  . We must Thank the team for such a nice movie.
