Lot emphasis was done on concepts on pain management in ED. In general clinicians are nog so keen tp relieve pain either acute or chronic. Some ignorance or lack of confidence may lead to the scenario. More than 75 percent people leave ER without getting adequate pain relief. Pain id subjective and-and is the subject of those who were suffering it. Clinicians are still afraid to use opioids to relieve pain. Opioids are the best one to relieve both acute and chronic pain. Watching the play based on the Novel   Khasakkinte Ethihasam   by OV Vijayan, at Calicut medical college. A well conceived, marvelously acted and directed devotion to the drama art . An ever memorable show experience in my life. Hats off to the team. It was so nostalgic to sit in medical college ground and watching this art form bring the sweet memories of 1980 to 1990. I remember we met OV Vijayan and other legends in the world of literature and arts in Calicut medical college. This show was an awesome experience. ... Theatre gives the real feel of Khasak and the lives in the novel . It gives the smell, sounds and visual with appropriate usage of properties and the power of light and shadow. It was so great when seeing Kalanilayam drama scope play in 90's. But it was felt like a fantasy. We had 6 year old child with run over injury foot with degloving of foot and and fracture both bone following road traffic accident. Child was presented with intractable pain not responding to opioids and other measures. Caudal epidural analgesia with .25 percent bupivacaine given and pain score reduced to 0/10 within 8 minutes .
