Having just finished 3 gruelling days of testing for this years 82 graduates, I can proudly say that the calibre of these young EM doctors is world class - and they are having a huge impact on patients right across the country!

Caudal epidural Analgesia in Emergency room

We had 6 year old child with run over injury foot with degloving of foot and and fracture both bone following road traffic accident. Child was presented with intractable pain not responding to opioids and other measures. Caudal epidural analgesia with .25 percent bupivacaine given and pain score reduced to 0/10 within 8 minutes . It can be a new modality of pain management in ER
