Caudal epidural Analgesia in Emergency room

We had 6 year old child with run over injury foot with degloving of foot and and fracture both bone following road traffic accident. Child was presented with intractable pain not responding to opioids and other measures. Caudal epidural analgesia with .25 percent bupivacaine given and pain score reduced to 0/10 within 8 minutes .
