GW Masters in Emergency Medicine exit exam and convocation at MMH Madurai .

This is the amazing impact of a 10yr partnership between several EM leaders in India, visionary hospital's and a bunch of International EM folk/ friends who care deeply about quality education, training & capacity building in India!

Having just finished 3 gruelling days of testing for this years 82 graduates, I can proudly say that the calibre of these young EM doctors is world class - and they are having a huge impact on patients right across the country!

ഇന്നലെ കട്ടിപ്പാറ പ്രകൃതി ദുരിത ബാധിത പ്രദേശങലിലെ റിലീഫ്  ക്യാംപുക്ലിൽ പോയി. ആസ്റ്റർ മിംസിന്റെയും angelsന്റെയും നേതൃത്തതിൽ ആണ്  പോയത്‌ . ഞാനും dr അജിൽ, dr സ്നെഹൽ , Dr ദുർഗ്ഗയും കൂടാതെ ഏഴു പാരാമെഡിക്‌സ്ഉം emct  യും മൊബൈൽ icu ഉൾപ്പെടെ രണ്ട്  ആംബുലൻസും ഉണ്ടയിരുന്നു. ജില്ലാ കളക്ടർ , മന്ത്രി രമകൃഷ്ണൻ , രഘവെട്ട്ൻ mp എന്നിവരുമായീ ക്യാമ്പിൽ ഉണ്ടാകാവുന്ന പ്രശ്നങ്ങളെ പറ്റി സംസാരിച്ചു . ഞങ്ങൾ മൂന്നു ക്യാമ്പുകളിലായീ 86 പേരെ പരിശോധിച്ചു വേണ്ട കുറിപ്പടികൾ കൊടുത്തു . സംഭവ സ്ഥലത്തു വെച്ചുള്ള പോലീസ്‌ ഇൻക്വസ്റ്റിന് സഹായിച്ചു . ചെന്നൈ പ്രളയ ദുരന്തത്തിലെ മെഡിക്കൽ ടീമിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കാൻ കിട്ടിയ അവസരവും അതിൽ നിന്നു കിട്ടിയ അനുഭവങ്ങളും ഇവിടെ വലിയ രീതിയിൽ ഉപയോഗപ്പെട്ടു. സ്‌ഥിരം കഴിക്കുന്ന പ്രമേഹം , രക്ത സമ്മർദം , ഹൃദയസംബംധമായ അസുഖങ്ങൾ , അപസ്മരം , ആസ്ത തുടങ്ങിയ അസുഖങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള മരുന്നുകൾ , അതിന്റെ നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട കുറുപ്പടികൾ എന്നിവയെല്ലാം കമ്പിലെ ചെറുതെന്നു തോന്നാമെങ്കിലും വലിയ പ്രശ്നങൽ തന്നെ ആയിരുന്നു . റിലീഫ് ക്യാമ്പിലെ ഡോക്ടർമരുടെ സന്നിധ്യം അവിടെ ഉള്ളവർക്കു ചെറിയ രീതിയിൽ എങ്കിലും സഹായമായീ എന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു . കാട്ടിപ്പാറ റിലീഫ്‌ ക്യാമ്പിൽ നിന്നു  നോബു തുറയിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തശേഷം മടങ്ങുമ്പോളും മഴ നിർത്താതെ പെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. പല ക്യാമ്പുകളിലയീ angels emct volunteerമാർ ഉല്പ്പെടെ ഉള്ളവർ അപ്പോഴും രക്ഷാപ്രവർത്തനത്തിൽ തന്നെ ആണ് . ഇന്ന് dr മെഹരൂഫ്‌ രജ്‌ , dr ബാലസുബ്രഹ്മണ്യൻ തുദങ്ങിയ angelsന്റെ മുതിർന്ന പ്രവർത്തകർ ക്യാമ്പ് കൽ  സന്ദർശിച്ചു കാമ്പിലുള്ള വരെ സഹായിക്കുന്നു . ഏട്ടു പേരുടെ മ്യതശരീരം കണ്ടെടുത്തു . പക്ഷെ ആറു പേരെ എങ്കിലും ഇനിയും കണ്ടെത്തൻ ഉണ്ട്‌ . വല്ലാത്ത ദുരവസ്ഥ .
