GWU observership in US

Observation posting in the most prestigious  institute Ronald Regan institute of EM at Washington DC is very useful and precious for residents. It is not only an educational posting but also a cultural and behavioral mudulation for budding EM physicians . University  is  providing this opportunities to the GWU MEM residents in India since 2007. Me, myself enjoyed the usefulness of this postings in 2008. GWU emergency medicine residency program played a pivotal role in making EM in India and standardizing quality EM care in Kerala. Proud to be part of it and fortunate to initiate in India .

   Had a very fruitful day discussing the future activities of ANGELS , Malappuram. It was headed by our honble.Jilla panchayat president Sri.. Unnikrishnan AP .We arrived at the following decisions.
  1.Tentative date of launch of ANGELS in Malappuram on July 16,2016.
2.To give it an official touch, call meeting of all heads of departments of revenue, health, Police and Motor vehicles at Jilla panchayat president's chamber on 13 June at 10.30 AM.
3 ANGELS activities will be made to reach grass root level by concentrating at block level rather at Taluk level.So for that meeting of all block presidents and Muncipal chairpersons will be called on 15th June at 10.30 AM at Jilla panchayat hall.
4.To mobilise resources for the activities have decided to call meeting of merchants, gold merchants, textile owners, hospital management.
5.Training for casualty medical officers in Govt.hospitals.
6.Issue ID cards for ambulance owners.
7.Take care of legal issues of ambulance drivers.
8.Start EMCT courses at Govt.hospitals.
9.Honouring efficient ambulance drivers through cash prizes .
9.Come out with books for public education on emergency care.
