   Had a very fruitful day discussing the future activities of ANGELS , Malappuram. It was headed by our honble.Jilla panchayat president Sri.. Unnikrishnan AP .We arrived at the following decisions.
  1.Tentative date of launch of ANGELS in Malappuram on July 16,2016.
2.To give it an official touch, call meeting of all heads of departments of revenue, health, Police and Motor vehicles at Jilla panchayat president's chamber on 13 June at 10.30 AM.
3 ANGELS activities will be made to reach grass root level by concentrating at block level rather at Taluk level.So for that meeting of all block presidents and Muncipal chairpersons will be called on 15th June at 10.30 AM at Jilla panchayat hall.
4.To mobilise resources for the activities have decided to call meeting of merchants, gold merchants, textile owners, hospital management.
5.Training for casualty medical officers in Govt.hospitals.
6.Issue ID cards for ambulance owners.
7.Take care of legal issues of ambulance drivers.
8.Start EMCT courses at Govt.hospitals.
9.Honouring efficient ambulance drivers through cash prizes .
9.Come out with books for public education on emergency care.

Pain management in ED

Lot emphasis was done on concepts on pain management in ED. In general clinicians are nog so keen tp relieve pain either acute or chronic. Some ignorance or lack of confidence may lead to the scenario. More than 75 percent people leave ER without getting adequate pain relief. Pain id subjective and-and is the subject of those who were suffering it. Clinicians are still afraid to use opioids to relieve pain. Opioids are the best one to relieve both acute and chronic pain.
