Mangalam write up
Dear all
Please find the link in leading news paper in Malayalam- an exclusive Story focusing on EM in Kerala and also focusing my personal contributions. It a big honor and inspiration for a person like me. May be this God's decision. When I was leaving my original specialty anesthesiology in 2006 and jumped into new a speciality which is not even identified by medical world including authorities..... I never expect this will grow to this level. Many people strongly discouraged me and asked about the foolishness to change the basic profession at age of 40s. Many hundreds of hurdles... Many sleepless nights. Now, when I am looking back, I proudly say ... I was not wrong. Many hundreds of people helped me whole heartedly. Many more.. continue to do. Emcon was an example. Even if the write up has came out with a personal focus (I never asked about that) , the great aspect is I will be a boost for upcoming EM doctors and specialists. It is sign that society is recognising people from doctors community in a big way. They gave me a celebrity status. May be first time in India, A EM doctor is getting great importance. It is a great privilege and huge responsebility. l am Bound to to do more... Whatever the way I can.. I started my profession by making sleep patients and now I am trying to people to wake up...
Big thanks to editor Sajeevan and reporter Harish and photographer.
