Angels rural India emergency medical care initiatives : completed 5 days training at Trivandrum from 12 to 17th May 2014 except on 16th. It was wonderful show and received excellent feed back from Kerala capital. 250 people from different segments of society received 8 hour hands on training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation , pediatric resuscitation,  forgien body airway obstruction management,  C.Spine protection , log roll,  hemorrhage control splinting and basic first aid .
Hats off Mr.Rajeevkumar (training coordinator) and other team members.
Now team move outreach calicut villages . Today angels program at Chennoth village.

"While v were taking BLS class here in tvm at a school 2day morn, there was a teachers' meeting happening in the adjacent hall...a lil later some of them came n asked moi if v could conduct this same class 4 dem...v then broke up into 2 groups n did just d same..it was amazing 2 c d enthusiasm of those 40 or so teachers..!"

Saving a life ...by Emct

Mr.Hamza Master , working at Rahmania School Velliparambha was hero of the story that I posted few days ago. He is an Emct Angels and one life has been saved miraculously due his timely interventions.

" Dr.Mithun emergency medicine  post graduate of calicut medical college wrote to my whatsapp :     
for the first time I have seen a  patient in cardiac arrest being  brought to medical college ED with a bystander,an engineer doing proper cpr on him. with gods grace we were able to save him neurologically intact.this shows the msg of bls is reaching many laypersons. felt really happy to have witnessed your efforts becoming fruitful.��

Emct Angels kerala state certificate distribution ceremony at hotel alakapuri 09.05.2014. Emct emergency medical care technician course is emt basic level course conducted by angels international foundation with support of mims institute of emergency medicine and GWU USA. Program comprises 3 month contact classes and 9 month field training. It is community based program enable people to handle basic emergency situation.  Few
Life saving stories by angels  EMCT group include FB airway obstruction at Coimbatore by Mr.Sudheesh ; Cardiac arrest resuscitation  at Lulu mall Abudabhi by Mr. Shaheer and  Successful pre hospital cardiopulmonary resuscitation and taken to Calicut medical college by Hamza Master Velliparambha last week.
Effective trauma interventions by Mr.KPC, Mr.NissarKP and Mr.Purushothan is worth to mention. Hindu daily and times of India did featured article on Emct Angels focused on Mr.Reji Jose and Mr.Purushothan.
It is success story of emergency medicine care in Kerala.
